About The Founder

My passion for the jewelry trade can be traced back to my pre-teen years, an idyllic childhood where I watched my father start his career as a hard working jewelry sales rep for one of the oldest companies in the industry and was ever so proud when he opened his first retail showroom at the tender age of 21. 

The die was cast. Before founding Crabtree Advisory, I built a long and successful career in the jewelry industry, culminating in senior sales roles with several leading firms in the jewelry retail and manufacturing space.  

I’ve personally provided training to over 1,500 jewelry retailers throughout the US & Canada. Been the architect of innovative in-store events which generated the equivalent of big box annual sales, in just 3 days. Travelled the world and visited jewelry factories to solve quality issues in China, India, Dubai and Turkey. Columnist with Instore Magazine, moderator, presenter and panelist of Instore Magazine events.

I’ve always strived to deliver results which have set the benchmark in my chosen field. No one can out work me, I’m driven to succeed no matter what. My hands on approach, outside the box creativity and relentless work ethic has served me and my employers well. 

These personality traits, coupled with two decades of deep and multi-faceted jewelry biz experience and well-honed commercial instincts are what my consulting clients tell me mark me out from the crowd.
